Fair housing
Equal Housing Opportunity

Our commitment
Rennie Barton and City2Shore Arete Collection support and comply with the federal Fair Housing Act, the Michigan Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act, and all applicable fair-housing laws. We provide services without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, familial status, marital status, age, or any other protected characteristic.
What this means in practice
Every client and every party to a transaction receives the same professional service, the same information, and the same respect. In divorce-related transactions specifically, both spouses are treated identically regardless of who engaged the service.
Resources
To learn more or file a fair-housing complaint, visit the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development at hud.gov/fairhousing or call HUD’s housing discrimination hotline at 800-669-9777. In Michigan, the Department of Civil Rights is at michigan.gov/mdcr.
Concerns
If you believe any aspect of our service falls short of these commitments, contact renniebarton@city2shore.com — we will address it directly.
